Missionary Life
At the heart of Urban Encounter Ministries lies a deep conviction that every city block, every alleyway, and every neighbor is a mission field ripe for restoration. Our missionaries don't just visit; they dwell, bringing the persistent hope of Christ into the concrete spaces where it is needed most.
We are dedicated to being the hands and feet of Christ, walking alongside our neighbors in their daily journeys. Our vision is to see local churches revitalized and communities transformed as we proclaim the Gospel through both word and tangible action, rooted in the restorative power of God's love.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth." Â Â Acts 1:8

EVANGELIZATION
Urban Encounter seeks to proclaim the Gospel boldly, believing in its power to bring people to salvation. This is accomplished through outreach and Christian/Catholic initiatives that include street evangelization, faith formation, neighborhood social events, discipleship training and equipping.
REVITALIZATION
Urban Encounter seeks to support our missionaries' families and individuals that are a unified body of Christian and Catholic believers through work, prayer, and sacraments. This faith-filled community serves the Hilltop with good works and charitable acts of love and generosity.
COMMUNITY
Urban Encounter attracts people of faith to live, thrive and make an impact in the Hilltop. Our goal is to steward the property in which our missionaries live. Our missionaries are given opportunities to learn skills of basic housing maintenance which empower them to make an impact on the environment around them.
